ROGERS, Ark. (May, 2018) – Happy Egg Co., a multi-national egg brand, has relocated its U.S. headquarters to Rogers, supporting 60 jobs in the region. The company’s office was previously located in San Francisco. It will be led by Dan Arnsperger, who was named president last August. The move has created 12 jobs at the Rogers office, with the rest of the positions created with Happy Egg Co.’s farm family partners.

“Northwest Arkansas is an ideal location for our company to plant itself and grow,” said Arnsperger. “The area allows us to be close to our farm families in Arkansas and Missouri and to leverage the retail talent in the region. Our raised with love standards set us apart in the industry, and I’m proud to bring that commitment here while supporting the growing economy in Northwest Arkansas.”

Happy Egg Co. is a leader in humane free range egg production and one of the most widely carried free range egg brands on the market. The company has operated in the U.S. since 2012, and has created a standard far beyond what the industry requires.

“Consumer expectations around animal welfare are higher than ever,” according to Arnsperger, “and we deliver on those expectations by going above and beyond industry requirements.” The company’s “raised with love” commitment guides all of its farm practices. All hens are given year-round access to roam on an eight-acre pasture with a requirement of 21.8 square feet per bird. This significantly exceeds the Humane Farm Animal Care Humane Certified® standards for free range of two square feet per bird. All farms are also required to provide the hens with perching towers, pecking toys, sand pits, nesting boxes and an all-natural diet.

“We work to provide the best product for our customers while maintaining our high animal welfare standards,” said Arnsperger. “We are raising the bar on what ‘free range’ means, while supporting local farmers and their families.” Happy Egg is the first commercial egg producer in the U.S. to be granted humane certification from the American Humane Association.

Beginning May 21, customers will be able to purchase Happy Egg eggs in Walmart stores throughout the Northwest Arkansas area. Customers can use the Store Locator feature on the company’s website to find availability in other markets at thehappyeggco/store-locator/.
